Mike MacDonnell

Mike is a Colorado native and the youngest of nine siblings. Growing up, he played a variety of sports but found his initial passion in tennis, which he pursued and played competitively throughout high school and college.
His passion now lies in both pickleball and tennis -- sports he has played, coached, and taught extensively. Mike enjoys leveraging the similarities between tennis and pickleball to enhance his instruction and help players build their skills.

Recognized for his patience and coaching expertise, Mike works with players of all ages and skill levels. Now retired from his career as a high school and middle school principal, he brings his love of teaching to the pickleball court, helping others achieve their goals.

Tim Kuss

Tim grew up in Ohio playing competitive baseball, basketball, and golf, earning a college scholarship in basketball. He is the proud father of three sons—Aaron, Lucas, and Brandon—and grandfather to Levi, Olivia, and Valentina. Tim is a Clinical Nutritionist, founder and CEO of Infinity Health (a leading nutrition distributor), and the author of two books on nutrition.

Tim has coached various sports for most of his adult life and has focused on pickleball coaching for the past 8 years. He brings enthusiasm and positivity to his coaching, helping students of all levels achieve their pickleball goals with clear, simple, and effective instruction.

Kim Kesner

Kim is a former two-sport collegiate athlete in volleyball and softball from Texas. She played tennis for many years, achieving a 5.0 rating. Kim began playing pickleball eight years ago and is now a sponsored pro by ONIX and the National Pickleball League (NPL) for the 50+ age group.
​
A pioneer in pickleball, Kim has taught clinics and lessons, and is now excited to join Epic Pickleball Club as a coach. Her extensive tournament experience informs her strategic coaching style. Kim values the physical wellness, enhanced well-being, and meaningful friendships that pickleball has brought into her life over the past eight years.
​
In addition to coaching, Kim has run her own clinic as a chiropractor and acupuncturist at Primary Care and Chiropractic since 1998.

Mark Chomko

Mark has nearly 50 years of experience in racquet sports, including over 45 years as a full-time certified tennis professional and 12 years as a certified pickleball professional. He has accumulated more than 30,000 hours of racquet sports instruction.
​
A seasoned competitor, Mark has played in the USAPA National Pickleball Championships in singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles, and has earned men’s doubles titles at the 4.5 and 5.0 levels in various local and state tournaments.
​
As a leader in coach education, Mark serves as a professional pickleball coach developer and head certification tester for the R.S.P.A. He also brings 20 years of experience directing Cardio Tennis and Cardio Pickleball programs and works as a guest pickleball professional at both Secrets and Dreams all-inclusive resorts. Mark’s greatest strength is his ability to customize lessons and programs to fit the unique skills, ages, and personalities of each student

Steven Hammer

Steven discovered pickleball two years ago and quickly developed a passion for the game. Now competing at the 4.0 tournament level, he remains committed to continuous improvement, always seeking to elevate his skills and strategic understanding.

With more than 30 years’ experience as a high school administrator and math teacher, Steven recognizes that each individual learns differently—both in academics and on the court. He tailors his coaching to support every player’s unique journey, whether they are new to pickleball or aiming to refine their technique and overcome challenges.

First-time players value Steven’s patience and clear instruction, which help them build confidence and develop essential skills. Advanced players benefit from his analytical mindset, gaining deeper insights into technique and game strategy.
